🍝 Welcome to Ruggiero’s Taste of Italy
At Ruggiero’s Taste of Italy, every dish tells a story — one that began generations ago in the sun-kissed hills of Bari, Italy, where our family learned that food is more than nourishment… it’s love, tradition, and connection.
Our roots run deep. My father grew up in Bari, surrounded by the aromas of slow-simmered sauces and fresh-baked bread that filled every Sunday with laughter and togetherness. When he settled in Long Island, New York, he brought those cherished recipes with him — passing down not only the techniques but the passion behind them.
I was just ten when my parents taught me how to cook and bake. Those early lessons became the heart of everything we do today. From our baked ziti layered with creamy mozzarella and rich marinara, to our homemade cakes made with real butter, fresh cream, and a touch of Italian soul — every meal is a tribute to our heritage.
Each sauce is stirred by hand. Each dessert is baked from scratch. Every order is prepared as if we were serving our own family. Whether it’s a cozy dinner, an intimate celebration, or a special catered event, our promise is the same — authentic Italian flavor made with heart.
Today, our story continues in Mount Juliet, where Ruggiero’s Taste of Italy is growing from a beloved in-home catering service into its own brick-and-mortar home. Soon, we’ll open for reservation-only dinners on select evenings, complete with live music and special events. We also plan to offer limited lunch hours with a to-go menu, while continuing our private catering for dinner parties and special occasions.
We’re more than a kitchen — we’re the continuation of generations of passion, perseverance, and pride.
So from our family to yours — Benvenuti!
Welcome to the table, where every bite is a piece of our family’s story.
Ruggiero’s Taste of Italy — bringing the warmth of our heritage straight to your home, one unforgettable bite at a time.
